From Yorkshire Flax to Finished Paint
Our paint begins with flax grown in the Yorkshire countryside, where the seeds are harvested and pressed to produce the linseed oil at the heart of every can. The oil then travels a short distance to our workshop, where traditional methods are still used to create each batch.
Rather than relying on high-speed industrial processes, we slowly mill natural pigments into the oil using traditional triple-roll mills. This careful process creates a rich, consistent paint with exceptional depth and durability.
