Oakum Docka

Oakum Docka is a traditional caulking material made from flax fibers impregnated with pine tar, used to seal joints and fill larger gaps in timber. It is pressed into seams and voids, forming a flexible, durable base within the substrate.

Designed to work as part of a complete linseed system, the oakum is finished with linseed oil putty and paint, creating a weather-resistant, long-lasting seal. It can be easily separated into smaller strands, enabling precise application across a range of repair conditions.
