Exposed directly to sea air, salt, wind, and constant moisture, the house demands a coating that can withstand extreme coastal conditions. Through extensive experience, SL Decor has found that linseed oil paint is the only finish capable of performing reliably in this environment. 

SL Decor of Belfast has spent the past three years restoring a coastal home on the eastern shores of Northern Ireland, working on the property each summer. For this project, they selected Brouns & Co Blackout (38) and Warwick’s Bench (4)—two colours that hold their depth, clarity, and durability even under the most challenging weather. A long-time and highly skilled user of linseed oil paint, SL Decor continues to demonstrate how well the material excels in settings where conventional coatings quickly fail.
